for Constable Tradesman : Level – 3 (Rs. 21,700 – 69,100) in pay matrix.
Age Limit : as on closing Date i.e. 25th August 2025
18-25 Years for UR/EWS
18-28 Years for OBC NCL
18-30 Years for SC ST
Age Relaxation Applicable for SC/ST/Ex and PWD candidates.
Qualification :
for Trades of Constable Carpenter, Plumber, Painter, Electrician, Pump Operator, Draughtsman, Upholster, Tinsmith : 10th class pass with 2 Years ITI in the trade OR
One year certificate course from ITI or Govt. affiliated vocational Institute with one year experience in the trade.
for Trades of Constable Cobbler, Tailor, Washerman, Barber, Sweeper, Mali, Khoji/Syce : 10th with procifient in the trade. must qualify trade test in the respective trade conducted by BSF.
for Trades of Constable Cook, Water Carrier, Waiter, Butcher : 10th with National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) Level-1 in Food production or Kitchen from National Skill Development.
Note : Multi Skilled are preferred.

Selection Procedure :
Selection Based on following :
- Physical Standards Test (PST)
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET) – Male Race 5 Kilometer Race in 24 Minutes ; Female 1.6 Kilometer Race in 8 Minutes 30 Seconds
- Document Verification
- Trade Test
- Cobbler: Polishing of shoes, handling tools, cutting of leather, repair & stitching of shoes.
Tailor: Taking measurements of persons, cutting of cloth, and stitching of uniform.
Cook: Cooking Chapatti & Rice, Cooking Vegetables/ Dal/ Sambhar/ Idli, etc. for 100 men, cooking meat/ fish/ egg/ kheer.
Water Carrier: Washing of utensils, kneading of Atta for making chapattis for about 100 men, cutting of vegetables, etc.
Washerman: Washing of clothes, ironing of Khaki, cotton uniform, woolen, and TC uniform.
Barber: Handling of tools, haircutting, and shaving.
Sweeper: Sweeping, cleaning of toilets and bathroom, etc.
Waiter: Hygiene/ sanitation, servicing of foods, and allied matters. - Written Test
