Pay Scales :

Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff (in Pay Level-1 as per Pay Matrix of 7th Pay Commission), a General Central Service Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial post in various Ministries/ Departments/ Offices of the Government of India and various Constitutional Bodies/ Statutory Bodies/ Tribunals, etc., in different States/ Union Territories and Havaldar (in Pay Level-1 as per Pay Matrix of 7th Pay Commission),

Age Limit : As on 01-01-2024

18-25 years (i.e. candidates born not before 02.01.1998 and not later than 01.01.2005) for MTS and Havaldar in CBN (Department of Revenue).

18-27 years (i.e. candidates born not before 02.01.1996 and not later than 01.01.2005) for Havaldar in CBIC (Department of Revenue) and few posts of MTS.

Age Relaxation Applicable for SC/ST/Ex and PWD candidates.

Matriculation Examination or equivalent from a recognized Board as on or before the cut-off date i.e. 17-02-2024.

Selection Procedure :

Selection Based on following :

  • Computer Based Test for MTS
  • CBT with (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST) (only for the post of Havaldar).
  • Walking
    1600 meters in 15 minutes.
    1 Km in 20 minutes
  • Physical Standard Test (PST): The minimum physical standards for the post of Havaldar in CBIC and CBN are as follows:
  • 157.5 cms. (relaxable by 5 cms. in the case of Garhwalis, Assamese, Gorkhas and members of Schedule Tribes)
  • Male Height :  157.5 cms. (relaxable by 5 cms. in the case of Garhwalis, Assamese, Gorkhas and members of Schedule Tribes): Chest-81 cms. (fully expanded with minimum expansion of 5 cms.)
  • Female Height :  152 cms. relaxable by 2.5 Cms in the case of Garhwalis, Assamese, Gorkhas and members of Schedule Tribes) ; 48 kg (relaxable by 2 Kg in the case of Garhwalis, Assamese, Gorkhas and members of Schedule Tribes)

General Intelligence: It would include questions of both verbal and non verbal type. General Awareness: Questions are designed to test the candidate’s general awareness of the environment around him and its application to society. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining to History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General policy and scientific research.
