    Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2024 – The Indian Coast Guard invites online applications for Indian male/female candidates for various branches as an Assistant Commandant(Group ‘A’ Gazetted Officer). Registration of ‘online’ application will be through Coast Guard recruitment website https://joinindiancoastguard.cdac.in.

    The candidates selected for training will be required to report at INA Ezhimala
    for 22 weeks of basic training followed by ab-initio training at various training establishments/ units/
    ships of Indian Navy and Indian Coast Guard.

    1. General Duty (GD)   – 50

    Age Limit :

    1. GD And Technical : 21-25 years as on 01 Jul 2024 i.e. born between 01 Jul 1999 & 30 Jun 2003 (Both dates inclusive).

    Upper age relaxation of 5 years for SC / ST and 3 years for OBC candidates.

     

    Qualification :

    for General Duty (GD) :  (i) Should hold a degree of recognised university with minimum 60% aggregate marks.
    (ii) Mathematics and Physics as subject upto Intermediate or class XII of 10+2+3 scheme of
    education or equivalent with minimum 55% aggregate marks in Mathematics and Physics. The candidates who have completed graduation after diploma, are also eligible, provided they should possess an aggregate of 55% marks in diploma with physics and mathematics in its curriculum.

    for Technical (Mechanical) : (i) Should hold an Engineering degree of recognised university in Naval Architecture or Mechanical or Marine or Automotive or Mechatronics or Industrial and
    Production or Metallurgy or Design or Aeronautical or Aerospace with minimum 60% aggregate marks.
    OR
    Equivalent qualification in any of the above disciplines recognised by the Institutes of the Engineers (India) as exempted from section ‘A’ and ‘B’ and their associate membership examination (AMIE).
    (d) (ii) Mathematics and Physics as subject upto intermediate or class XII of 10+2+3 scheme of
    education or equivalent with minimum 55% aggregate marks in Mathematics and Physics. The candidates who have completed graduation after diploma, are also eligible, provided they should possess an aggregate of 55% marks in diploma with physics and mathematics in its curriculum.

    for Technical (Electrical/Electronics) : (i) Should hold an Engineering degree of recognised
    university in Electrical or Electronics or Telecommunication or Instrumentation or Instrumentation and Control or Electronics and Communication or Power Engineering or Power Electronics with minimum 60% aggregate marks.
    OR
    Equivalent qualification in any of the above disciplines recognised by the Institutes of the Engineers (India) as exempted from section ‘A’ and ‘B’ and their associate membership examination (AMIE).
    (ii) Mathematics and Physics as subject upto intermediate or class XII of 10+2+3 scheme of
    education or equivalent with minimum 55% aggregate marks in Mathematics and Physics. The
    candidates who have completed graduation after diploma, are also eligible, provided they should

    for Law Entry : A degree in Law from a recognized university with minimum 60% aggregate marks.

    (a) Height.
    (i) Asst Commandant (GD) and Tech. 157 cms minimum. Reduction in height
    for candidates from hilly areas and tribal areas will be in accordance with the Central
    Govt. regulations.

    (b) Weight. Proportionate to the Height and Age, + 10 % acceptable.
    (c) Chest. Well proportionate, minimum expansion 5 cms.
    (d) Eye Sight.
    (i) Asst Commandant (GD) 6/6 6/9 – Uncorrected without Glass.
    6/6 6/6 – Corrected with Glass.
    (ii) Asst Commandant – 6/6 in one eye and 6/9 in other CPL holders (SSA) correctable to 6/6.
    both (Male and Female)
    (iii) Asst Commandant Tech(Male) 6/36 6/36 -Uncorrected without Glass. 6/6 6/6 – Corrected with Glass.

    Fees Details :

    Rs.300/- for UR/OBC/EWS.
