Eligibility Criteria

1. Name of the post : Administrative Officer, One post (unreserved)
i) Pay scale and classification : Group ‘A’, L-11, Rs.67700-208700
ii) Age Limit : 50 years
iii) Educational and other qualification for direct recruitment: At least a Graduate with 10 years supervisory
experience in financial and administrative matters in a Govt. office or autonomous organization.
iv) Method of Recruitment: By deputation, failing which by direct recruitment.
Desirable : Preference will be given to the candidates holding postgraduate or higher degree in Social Science
such as political science, International Relations especially those with published works in national/international
journals on Gandhian Studies/philosophy and related areas.

2. Name of the post : Librarian, One post (unreserved)
i) Pay scale and classification : Group C, L-6, Rs.35400-112400
ii) Age Limit : 45 years
iii) Educational and other qualifications for direct recruitment: i) Post Graduate or equivalent, ii) Degree in
Library Sciences from a recognized university/institution, iii) Five years’ experience of working in libraries of
Central Government/autonomous bodies/recognized institutions of repute.
iv) Method of Recruitment: Direct recruitment including short term contact, failing which by deputation. The
appointment in either case will be for a term of three years extendable at the discretion of Appointing Authority.
(Probation: One year)

3. Name of the post : Guide, Two posts (One reserved for SC and one for OBC)
i) Pay scale and classification : Group C, L-4, Rs.25500-81100)
ii) Age Limit : 25 years
iii) Educational and other qualifications for direct recruitment: i) Degree in Arts preferably with Indian History as
one of the subjects, ii) Intimate knowledge of Gandhian Philosophy, iii) At least two years’ experience of working
in a field organization/museum/art gallery.
Note: Candidates who do not possess the practical experience prescribed under (iii) above but otherwise found
suitable, will be placed in the Level 2 Rs.19900-63200 till completion of probation.
Desirable: Knowledge of English, Hindi and one foreign language as German/French/Spanish/Korean

4. Name of the post : Driver, Two posts (One unreserved and One for OBC)
i) Pay scale and classification : Group C, L-2, Rs.19900-63200
ii) Age Limit : 25 years
iii) Educational and other qualifications of direct recruitment: i) Should have passed eight standards. ii) Permanent
license of motor driving. iii) Three years’ experience in driving and ability to carry out minor repairs.
iv) Method of Recruitment: Direct recruitment. – Group ‘D’ employees of the Samiti with requisite qualifications
may also be considered along with other candidates. (Probation: one year)

5. Name of the post : Safai Sevak, Three (One unreserved, one SC & One OBC)
i) Pay scale and classification : Group C, L-1, Rs.18000-56900
ii) Age Limit : 25 years
iii) Educational and other qualifications of direct recruitment: Fifth Standard
iv). Method of Recruitment: Direct recruitment. (Probation: one year)
